Written Bio

For our character design webpage, you need to submit a written bio that describes you. A professional bio sticks to the subject at hand, so this one should be about your relevant educational and artistic experience and say something about what you got out of the character design program.

Required:

● Educational background

● Previous art experience (if you have none, say it’s your first time). ● Any related jobs or work experience

● Something you learned about character design or yourself during the program

● Follow Style guidelines:

          ○ Write in the 3rd person. (not “I”)

          ○ Use your full name in the first sentence, then only your first name for the rest of the bio.

              ■ “Rashad lives in Fordham, NY. He is a graduate of JFK

              High School.”

● 100 - 150 words

           ○ IMPORTANT: Check word count in Google Docs.

              ■ Go to Tools in the Navigation Bar > Select Word Count

 

Optional:

● Any related awards, honors or publications

● Your place of origin

● Include your place of birth and/or current

city/neighborhood/borough

● Artists, book, movies, video games, & cartoons that influenced or inspired your character’s design
